Recruiting for Full-Time Youth Support Partner Positions!
We continue to receive in a steady flow of requests for YSPs and in order to meet the growing demand, we are in search of a diverse group of young adults to hire to work as advocates and mentors for youth aged 14-21 (approx.) who are involved with one or more of the child-serving systems.
·This is a full time position with a full benefit package, competitive salary and flexible hours
·The typical YSP is 19-25 years old when hired, but there is no strict age requirement
Potential candidates must have:
·personal experience in receiving services from child welfare, juvenile justice, behavioral health, drug & alcohol, or homeless services or a combination of these areas
·A high school diploma or GED, and 1 year of combined work experience
·A driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle- if they do not have a license they would need to be able to secure these within 6 months of being hired
·YSPs are coached, trained and supervised so that they can use their experiences and their trainings to help collaborate with system partners to better engage and support young people and their voice and choice as they navigate systems and move towards their goals!
