Five Day High Fidelity Wraparound Team Training

The Five Day HFW Team Training (team training) is a training that is divided into two sessions (two days one month and three days the following month) so participants can practice the skills they have learned. Team training is designed to meet the needs of all members of the High Fidelity Wraparound team (coach, facilitator, family support and youth support partners). The focus of team training is specifically related to the High Fidelity Wraparound model. The Ten Principles, Four Phases, various activities, Theory of Change, staff roles, and skill sets are explained so that the workforce can effectively practice the High Fidelity Wraparound model. The training is comprised of lecture, activities, behavioral rehearsals, and assignments. Various activities will be assigned to workforce members between training segments in order to promote the transfer of the skills learned. Acquiring these skills is important in each role to effectively work with youth and families.

The registration site URL is on the restricted role pages. If you are not a PA HFW workforce member or provider, please contact Doreen Barkowitz (barkowitzdh@upmc.edu) at the Youth and Family Training Institute to discuss your training needs.
