Monica Walker Payne, M.A.

Monica coordinates outcome data collection for the Youth and Family Training Institute and is the Evaluation Program Coordinator for the PA System of Care Partnership. She is responsible for coordinating the National Evaluation and TRAC-NOMS outcome studies in System of Care counties across the state of Pennsylvania.

Will collaborates with the Youth and Family Training Institute on projects and outcome data, and is the Data Coordinator and Analyst for the evaluation team of the PA System of Care Partnership.   He is responsible for protecting the integrity and confidentiality of data and information, including analyzing department activities and performing quality control checks on the database.

Irina Puchkareva was born in Russia and moved to United States in 1999 with her husband and two sons. In 1986 she graduated with a Masters of Science Degree in Computer Engineering at Taganrog State University of Radio Engineering.

Eileen Domin

Eileen Domin is the Research Coordinator for the Youth and Family Training Institute and the PA System of Care Partnership. She is responsible for managing participant payments, entering and managing data tracking, and providing web-based and HP Teleform data entry services to the System of Care Partnership.

Tanya Walburn, M.S.W., L.S.W.

Tanya Walburn is our newest Pennsylvania High Fidelity Wraparound statewide Coach at the Youth and Family Training Institute (YFTI).  Tanya will work directly with Laurie Fowler Beckel (statewide Coach) to provide regular coaching and credentialing activities for the High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) workforce as they become credentialed and begin implementing the HFW model in their counties.  She is responsible for providing on-site, video, Skype and phone coaching throughout Pennsylvania.  Tanya will also provide training for the High Fidelity Wraparound workforce in coordination with the YFTI Training Coordinator.

Christine Snyder, CPSP, CPS

Christine Snyder is the statewide Family Support Partner Specialist at the Youth and Family Training Institute but a HFW family support partner coach at Allegheny Family Network. As a statewide High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) Family Support Partner Specialist, she is responsible for working with the staff of the Youth and Family Training Institute to develop learning activities for the support partners in the workforce.

Doreen H. Barkowitz, M.S.W., L.S.W.

Doreen Barkowitz joined the Youth and Family Training Institute in March 2011 as the Training Coordinator. Doreen has been involved in improving the lives of children, adolescents and young adults, and their families in many capacities during her career. She has trained professionals who work with youth with behavioral health and substance abuse issues, and those working with youth on the autism spectrum.

Dave A. Ozias, B.S.

Dave worked as a HFW Facilitator for nearly four years in Fayette County prior to coming to the Youth and Family Training Institute (YFTI). He became certified as a co-trainer for the Five Day High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) Team Training shortly before joining YFTI. Dave loves the HFW process because it reminds him of our country's roots... a time when people helped their neighbors.

Jennifer joined the Youth and Family Training Institute in September 2015 as a research project assistant. She provides administrative support to YFTI, as well as coordinating trainings for Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic's Family Based Mental Health Services.

Alex C. Knapp

Alex is the Continuous Quality Improvement Specialist for the Youth and Family Training Institute and the SAMHSA-funded PA System of Care Partnership. Alex helps with data verification and entry, in addition to several special projects at YFTI. In his role as CQI Specialist, Alex also works with Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic's Office of Educational Resources and Planning (OERP), where he helps with continuing education for a multitude of human service and medical disciplines.

Kenneth C. Nash, M.D. is a Co-Principal Investigator (PI) on the five-year grant funded by the Pennsylvania Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) and awarded to Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic to create the Youth and Family Training Institute. Kenneth C. Nash, M.D., M.M.M. is the Chief of Clinical Services at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center which is nationally ranked as one of the top mental health systems in the United States.

Laurie Jones is a Co-Principal Investigator (PI) on the grant funded by the Pennsylvania Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) and awarded to Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic to create the Youth and Family Training Institute. Laurie Jones is the Senior Director, Public Policy/Community Education Initiative.
